Live Crowdsourcing event - 'Who Should Do What...?'
presentation
26 Nov
LIVE RESULTS HERE!Today (Thursday 26th Nov) we will be asking anyone who is following the myPublicServices Conference to help us categorise 384 citizen-facing services that local government currently provides.
Along with help from FutureGov's Carrie Bishop, we are running a workshop in the afternoon with delegates examining what the role of the elected member be in the 21st Century.
We want to categorise all 384 services into the following:
As you go along you can see how many more we've got to go - and what the results are so far. We want to get a snapshot of what public services could look like, at least from the point of existing local government responsibilities, and what who we think should be doing what.

We want to categorise all 384 services into the following:
- Scrap it and make it private
- Scrap it and make it collaborative (not for profit)
- Keep it if local politicians think it's a good idea
- Keep it and let the state do it
- Keep it if national politicians think it's a good idea
